When choosing a name for my blog, I went to a favorite source- song lyrics. We saw the incomparable Loudon Wainwright at McCabes a few months back and I always laugh when I hear "Choppers".

We live near the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles and love our neighborhood. Every week I am amazed by the creative people, amazing music and art, and all the fun things there are to do here. So my blog will cover the best in culture, shopping, eating, and local scene. A slice of LA life with the requisite celebrity sightings and neighborhood happenings.
